Since the introduction of PaperCut, we have encountered problems with scanning functions. There are currently THREE ways you can scan a document on a PaperCut enabled copier.
Papercut Scanning Button
- Scan to Home folder--From our testing, this will scan to a folder called "Scans" in your H: drive, so it won't take up space in your inbox, but you won't be able to access it from home unless you have synched your H: drive to your OneDrive (O365).
- Scan to your Email--This is supposed to scan the document to your Outlook account BUT it isn't working correctly (Nov. 2019--will scan one page from glass or feeder, but we've not been successful with multi-page docs). You also cannot email anyone else from this function.
Papercut Device Functions Button-> Scanner
- Scans ONLY to Outlook emails BUT you can send the scan to more than one address and make other changes (like B&W or Colour, etc.). You need to add your email address if it's not already in the list. The lists are NOT synched between copiers, so you may not be listed on one you don't regularly use. It's also possible your address is there but it's listed different in the address book tabs.
